Iker Foronda will play Liga Zesta Punta Profesional
The 2009 World Champion will debut on August 25th in Bilbao
08/08/2011: Iker Foronda is one of the figures who will take part in the LZPP (Liga Zesta Punta Profesional), competition organized by Bilbao Jai Alai and wich will take place in various Basque geography frontons.
The pelotari from Álava has a great track record, in fact, he won the World Championship of 2009 with Imanol López. In the final game, they beat Egiguren II-Félix. Likewise, this year he has won the Most Wins in the Orlando Jai Alai (Florida), where in less than two months conquered 72 quinielas.
In regards to previous seasons, this frontcourt of 32 years old (Vitoria, 20-03-1979) he also highlighted by its quality and reliability, as demonstrated with the victories in the 2007 Orange Circuit and in the Most Wins of the Dania Jai Alai, where in 2004 and 2005 / 2006 campaigns added 164 and 195 quinielas, respectively.
Iker Foronda will debut with Bilbao Jai Alai on August 25th at 9:00 pm at Club Deportivo of Bilbao. He will represent Araba in a Championship which, under the quinielas system, will also include teams from the above-mentioned province, from Gipuzkoa, Bilbao, Bizkaia, Nafarroa and Iparralde.
